RVIA Board Approves 2028 Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems Requirement

RVIA’s Standards Steering Committee (SSC) previously approved public inputs regarding TPMS for the 2029 National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1192 Standard for RVs.
The requirement will take effect eight years after Truck Systems Technologies, now TST by PSI, a Clarience Technologies Co., secured what is believed to be the first OE TPMS deal with Forest River’s Palomino Columbus brand.


TST Welcomes Ethan Emahiser as TST Sales Professional

In his new role, Emahiser will operate from the newly established Elkhart facility increasing TST’s point of contact with RV market participants.
Emahiser gained valuable experience in the RV industry during his time in the fast-paced environment of Regency RV where he balanced responsibilities in sales, marketing, and product development. He also has experience in the automotive world working for BZ Auto Group contributing to a team that earned the prestigious President’s Award for Ford dealers in 2024 recognizing their outstanding customer support.

TST adds new Elkhart, IN Operations and Distribution Center
Elkhart, IN - December 1, 2024
TST has announced that it has established operations in Elkhart, Indiana, in cooperation with a sister company, to support its OE business. This will include shipments of all TPMS products to its customers, as well as setting up production for new products being released in 2025.
“Establishing a presence in Elkhart is important for us and our customers. This move will have an immediate impact on enhancing our support to our customers. Furthermore, it reaffirms our previous commitment to the RV industry.” Stated Jim Sharkey, president, TST.

Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.) Announces the Integration of TST Into P.S.I.

Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.) has merged TST into the P.S.I. organization with Jim Sharkey as president.
P.S.I. originally acquired TST in 2017. Since that time TST has achieved a #1 position in the TPMS RV market, through product leadership and unmatched customer service. In 2019 TST became the first in OEM-equipped TPMS for RVs, and one of the leading RV TPMS aftermarket suppliers in the industry.
The merger will further enable TST’s growth plans and will provide significant synergies with engineering, production, marketing, finance, and administration functions, and allow TST’s customer-facing functions to focus on its customers. Subsequently, the TST operations and sales teams will continue to operate as they have. The TST brand is well-known in the industry and will continue as a market-focused solution.
